About the RoleBase Location: Belfast (BT23 6BL)Salary: £40,500 - £42,500 + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.Working Pattern: Permanent | Full TimeWhat is the Role?As our Building and Maintenance Manager, you will:- be the key contact for all building related works, both for private and social housing clients- take responsibility for the surveying function and the line management of the building maintenance team and subcontract labour- provide technical support and management of both subcontractors and in-house resources for delivery of projects- work with the H&S and Quality Manager to deliver Health and Safety and Quality audits in line with quality management system accreditations- liaise with the Operations Manager in regard to client handovers, and consultants in regard to final accounts and compensation eventsWhat do I need?To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:- a proven track record as a graduate, qualified tradesperson, surveyor or foreman, ideally with commercial experience- good working knowledge of CDM H&S Regulations- experience of working with NEC contracts- good working knowledge of NHMF Schedule of Rates- experience of managing subcontractors and directly employed colleaguesAbout our BusinessSSE is a multinational energy company listed on the FTSE 100, with a vision "to be a leading energy company in a net zero world".
