Our client is seeking a Broadcast Operational Support Engineer to provide their skills and expertise with projects, collaborating with their technology partners.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-level technical support for broadcast operations.
Utilize cutting-edge remote production technology from partners such as Ross, Evertz, EVS, and RTS.
Ensure seamless team collaboration and effective vendor management.
Contribute to continuous improvement and system maintenance efforts.
Support Outside Broadcasts, including weekend work as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in operational or support roles within the broadcast industry.
Understanding of broadcast solutions, including playout, encoding, transmission, and distribution.
Knowledge of remote production workflows and broadcast technologies/systems (e.g., BT Vena, SDI, IP, Dante, Madi, JPEG XS).
Effective interpersonal and communication skills for client and team collaboration.
Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience preferred.
