Bridging Finance Underwriter

�40-45k + Bonuses + Hybrid Working Pattern (3 days wfh, 2 days in office)

Location: Manchester�

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze loan applications, assessing borrower creditworthiness, property value, and risk factors

- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on loan transactions, including property appraisals and legal documentation

- Determine loan terms, including loan amounts, interest rates, and repayment schedules, based on risk assessment and company guidelines

- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to expedite loan approvals and closings

- Communicate effectively with borrowers, brokers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve issues

- Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices related to bridging finance

Requirements:�

- Previous experience in underwriting role, preferably in the bridging finance or mortgage industry

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards for lending products

- Proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment techniques
