St Laurence Church Junior School is a 3-form entry junior school located in Northfield, Birmingham. We are an OFSTED rated ‘good’ school are looking for a Breakfast and After School Club Manager who is ready to support the school in order to provide the best wraparound care for our children and their families.
In return we will offer training where necessary to the right candidate in order to further develop their skills and knowledge. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and innovative Breakfast and After School Club Manager to join our supportive team. We would welcome the opportunity for the successful candidate to complete a handover period with the retiring incumbent so they are given the best possible start in the role.
The successful candidate will:
lead and be responsible for day to day management of before and after school care, providing care and play opportunities in a safe and secure environment
manage and lead a team of staff to deliver high quality creative play opportunities
be responsible for the day to day administration, record keeping, ordering and purchasing of equipment, supplies and resources
work in partnership and liaise with senior leaders
have exceptional communication and organisational skills
be proactive in accessing update training, reading, policy etc
be friendly, flexible, professional and hardworking
