Note:- This is not a Junior role, candidates should have at least 3 years of games industry experience- You must be located within +/- 2 hours of GMT- Initially appointment will be on a one year fixed term basisJob Description & Person SpecificationAbout the role:Coatsink is looking for a Brand Manager to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for creating, planning, developing and implementing the brand strategies across a number of Coatsink titles. In partnership with the Development, Production, PR + Influencer, Social Media + Community and Sales team members you will be responsible for the creation and execution of each title’s brand strategy and go-to-market campaign ensuring brand consistency across multiple touchpoints and channels.Responsibilities (including but not limited to)Building impactful and recognisable brand strategies and creative identities both internally and externally across Coatsink titles.Owning the marketing budget for each title ensuring all marketing activities are aligned with brand pillars and outreach delivers maximum value.Owning and leading the execution of brand strategy and go-to-market planning for each respective title, applying player, market and product insights to ensure maximum effectiveness.Working with the marketing team to communicate with development teams to align on objectives and marketing goals in conjunction with milestones.Identifying and maximising all respective partner marketing activities with the likes of Steam, EPIC, PlayStation, XBOX, Nintendo, META, external licensors etc.Working as part of a small-focused team across Coatsink titles, PR + Influencer, Community + Social Media, and Creative.Responsible for measuring and reporting performance for each brand campaign, translating data into insights and action.In conjunction with strategic planning responsible for monitoring and tracking market trends, researching target audiences & competitive titles’ activities to support each of Coatsink titles’ positioning.Person SpecificationRequired experience, skills and knowledge:3+ years of professional experience as a Brand Manager in video gamesExperience working on Indie titles or a demonstrable understanding of Indie games and how best to marketProven ability to develop full mix brand strategies and go-to-market campaignsStrong communicator with the ability to influence at all levelsExcellent time management, organisational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skillsAbility to thrive in a dynamic and fast-changing environmentUp to date with the latest gaming trends, platform and business model evolutionsPreferred experience, skills and knowledge:Relevant degree or similar qualificationExperience in marketing VR titles would be beneficialManagement experience is a plus
