About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join The University of Warwick’s Brand Team as Brand Manager - Governance. You’ll be responsible for
leading the ongoing management of The University of Warwick’s brand in line with the brand framework and strategy, and to act as a strategic guardian of the institutional brand. Focus areas of responsibility include brand governance and protection, brand management services and brand compliance, brand asset development and management, brand consultancy, as well as overseeing brand trademarking and licensing. About You
We’re looking for an exceptional person to join us the Brand Team who is educated to degree level or alternatively can demonstrate relevant experience in brand management and marketing. A CIM,
CIPR or equivalent relevant professional qualification is desirable.
We’re looking for a candidate who has experience working in a large, complex and fast paced organisation, ideally with experience in higher education. With extensive experience in managing and governing all aspects relating to brand and brand communications (such as laws, regulations, trademarking). They will have experience in leading and managing a team.
An understanding and experience of marketing and communications. Experience of managing budgets, systems, processes, agencies.
They’ll be a creative, and innovative thinker with the ability to influence, engage and build strong relationships with a number of stakeholders across the organisation. Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines with excellent attention to detail is a must.

About the Department
The Brand Team sits within the wider Marketing, Communication and Insight (MCI) team.
The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team of specialists, focused on brand,
marketing, communications, insight and student recruitment leadership, working in partnership with senior leadership, academic faculties, departments and our commercial services across the University.
Our work is essential to the success of the Universities strategic
objectives and supports the University strategy to be realised.
