Hydraquip are the UK’s largest independent onsite hose replacement company, offering a 24/7-365 nationwide on-site service. We have been established for over 30 years and have ambitious plans for further growth in the coming years. Currently, we operate approximately 150 service vans and have recently committed to an investment of £2m to commission 50 new mobile service vans, upgrading our existing fleet and adding additional vehicles. Operated by experienced and dedicated hydraulic engineers, we are proud of our success rate of over 99% of first-time repairs on site.Hydraquip have market leading technology to support our team including our customer portal which allows customers to book and track their hydraulic hose replacement and services, with real time job status updates.
To support our growth plans, we are planning to recruit additional members to our team.
A day in the life of a Branch Manager:
Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations and driving forward the business at our Nottingham Branch. Inspiring each member of our team, mucking in when needed, keeping them upbeat, motivated and focused on delivering brilliant work all day, every day in order to maximise customer satisfaction.
You will also:
Be responsible for increasing sales turnover generated within Nottingham, utilising a small team of engineers to assist in generating leads, right through to fulfilling the first order.
Act as an escalation point for incoming customer enquiries
Process sales orders & quotations when required
Identify and source components for outstanding orders, ongoing projects or in support of your mobile engineers
Day to day supervision of the Hydraulic Trade Counter
Complete the appraisal process for your team members, to include your mobile engineers
Work closely with other depots to fulfil the needs of our national accounts
Take job bookings by phone, and input these onto our job manager portal, as well as on occasion assist in the controlling of the engineers using this same system.

The Branch Manager role requires someone with good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with sometimes conflicting priorities. Your drive will come from a desire to achieve results and play your part in a wider team.
You will also have:
Proven experience within a Management role, ideally within a similar industry
A good knowledge of Hose & Fittings & their application. Knowledge of hydraulics would be an advantage.
A full UK driving licence
Good IT knowledge and the ability to understand data and use it effectively to help business decisions
Proven experience of delivering an amazing service from end to end, including the ability to turn complaints into compliments
A working knowledge of how to grow profitability through excellent customer service, as well as the willingness to develop that knowledge.
