Brake Press Operator

We are recruiting for a�Sheet Metal Brake Press�(Press Brake) OPERATOR to fulfil our clients orders. This position is of a temporary nature and available until approximately 14th June 2024.

• The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for operating power press machines to bend, form, and straighten metal plates and sheet metal.


• Monday to Thursdays-7am to 5pm- 10 hours pay per day-40 hours per week.


• Pay is �13.50 per hour to �14.50 per hour Plus holiday and free parking on site.


• Pay is paid weekly on Fridays.

As a Brake Press Operator, you will be operating the following:

• Amada-(HFB, HFP,HFE,APX)


• Trumf (-TRUEBEND)

Duties:

- Operate power press machines to bend, form, and straighten metal plates and sheet metal

- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications

- Adjust ram and back gauge locations per work order instructions

- Inspect workpieces to ensure conformance with specifications

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment

- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions

Skills:

- Experience in a warehouse setting

- Proficiency in materials handling

- Ability to fabricate using hand tools

- Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and troubleshooting

- Welding experience is a plus

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Assembly skills for finished product completion

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract

Pay: �13.50-�14.50 per hour
