Our client, is a well-established Advisory Firm, looking for a Bookkeeper/Administrator. They are based in Whitehaven, Cumbria.
Main Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

- Posting purchase and sales invoices in the bookkeeping accounting software.
- Reconciling supplier and customer accounts.
- Posting and reconciling bank statements.
- Assisting the accounts manager in managing and sorting out client's data.
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
- Preparation of customer accounts and self-assessment tax returns.
- Reporting the results of assigned work to the accounts manager.
- Sorting out supplier invoices.
- Centralizing client document scanning and saving to CRM.
- Liaising with branches for their scanning requirements.
- Handling files and sending them for storage.
- Preparing correspondence to clients.
- Dealing with telephone and in-person inquiries.
- Performing bookkeeping and various other accounting tasks.
- Filing and scanning documentation.
- Data entry.
- Managing inward and outward post.
- Undertaking ad-hoc tasks as directed by management.
The ideal candidate will exhibit the following qualifications and experience:
-1 year Bookkeeping experience
- Preparing correspondence to clients
- Dealing with telephone and in-person enquiries
