Experienced Estimator / Assistant Manager – Repair Centre, Basingstoke: Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £40,000.00 – £50,000.00 per year The Role We are seeking a driven and ambitious individual to join our Accident repair centre as an Estimator / Assistant Manager. You may be a qualified and experienced Vehicle Estimator who is looking for a fast track to management. You may be a Body-shop manager today, who is looking for a new and exciting challenge. Either way we will provide all the necessary training and support that you need to succeed. You will work and train alongside our current experienced and knowledgeable Body-shop Manager. Helping him to provide guidance and support to the other members of our successful team. While providing our customers and their insurers with Estimates and Vehicle Damage Assessments. You will be based at our large Multi-Franchise site in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Working Monday to Friday and on occasional Saturday mornings. What do we expect from you, as our Estimator / Body-Shop Manager? You will work in partnership and as direct support to our existing Manager. To monitor the day to day running of our Body shop, maximising the efficiency and productivity of your team. To provide accurate repair estimates, both on and off site. To maximise customer awareness of all available Paint & Body Centre and retailer services To generate new business through insurance companies, private owners and local car dealers To maximise profitability through the use of professional sales techniques To provide a high level of quality control and checking, sustaining and guaranteeing the reputation of our business. To maintain the audit standards of our manufacturer partners. To coach, motivate and manage a team of experienced reception, productive staff and apprentices. To contribute toward the achievement of monthly and quarterly targets.
What experience are we looking for? If you are an experienced Estimator or are currently a Body-shop manager, you may be the right candidate for the job. Current Audatex Certification All applicants should display: Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work. Great communication skills, plus a friendly and courteous manner. The ability to be a team player and inspire the people around you. Strong organisation and time management skills. The strength of character to work in a high paced and often demanding environment. An entrepreneurial spirit helping you to seek out new opportunities and develop/improve already successful processes. The ability to follow robust processes and encourage your colleagues to do the same. What we can offer you.
