BMS Project Engineer - 6 months+
For a large client global client we are looking for a BMS Project Engineer for a 6 month extendable contract.
The Role
Review project specifications, designs and identify any commissioning issues
Work to the commissioning requirements and report any need to deviate from the existing design
Co-operate with the M&E commissioning engineers on site
Liaise closely with the project manager to highlight any operational problems
Use safe systems of working and Electricity at Work Regulations, Health and Safety Regulations
Develop software programs, Graphics, commission and troubleshoot to ensure proper operations of the building control system
Coordinate and create necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation
Load and commission system and network-level controllers
Validate complete system functionality and troubleshoot problems with subcontractors
Your Experience
3+ years of experience in BMS Control systems
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering
Experience in creating/updating BMS software and graphics and working knowledge of BMS Industry standards protocols
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with MS Office; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Experience with Metasys is desirable
