BMS Engineer

Akton are recruiting on behalf of a client who is looking for a BMS Engineer to join their team in London.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest safety and quality standards are met and always maintained.
• Engage customers on the features and benefits of their control systems, ensuring its functionality are understood.
• Provide energy efficiency advice to customers.
• Awareness of the environmental impact of energy consumption on the environment.
• Ability to articulate the impact and benefits of increasing energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption to customers.
• Produce Field Quotes.
• Work with other branches, companies or external service providers or vendors to resolve problems.
• Contribute to the growth and productivity targets set by the business.

Requirements

• BMS and/or Controls knowledge in one or more of the following BMS systems: Schneider, Trend, Siemens, Tridium.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency processes and practices.
• Electrical Competency
• HVAC plant application knowledge
• H & S Accreditation (CSCS Card or equivalent)
• Asbestos Awareness
• IT Literate with experience of MS Office Products
• Clean driving record
• Technical experience to cover installation and commissioning work at the required levels.
