Biology Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Biology Teacher for a school based in Ellesmere Port on a permanent basis.

The school we are partnered with are seeking a full time Biology Teacher to start in May 2024 to take over from a member of staff who is leaving. This role is a permanent position and the school are looking to meet with candidates over the coming weeks.

The role will delivering KS3 and KS4 biology alongside a well established science department with experienced science technicians to support in all practical lessons. The role is due to start in May 2024 on a full time timetable. The schools working hours start at 8:30am and finish around 3:20pm.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of providing excellent lessons in both KS3/KS4 biology, have previous experience with practical demonstrations and be willing to work closely with a well established team. The school are well set up in providing support and PPA time to ensure a healthy working week is provided to encourage positive and enthusiastic teaching practices.

To be considered for this role, we will need -

• Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
• A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
• A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
• Full Qualified Teaching Status in the UK in Biology
