Job DescriptionJoin the Pioneers in Public Open Space StewardshipFor over a quarter of a century, my client has led the charge in nurturing the UK's public open spaces. As the foremost authority in this domain, they specialize in providing top-tier management solutions for outdoor areas and amenities within new residential developments.With a portfolio encompassing over 1,000 developments nationwide, and hundreds more slated for their management services in the near future, their commitment to excellence is unwavering. Many of these sites boast designated wildlife habitats, necessitating meticulous care and monitoring.As England and Wales move forwards with mandatory Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), our client is poised to procure and manage even more habitat-rich sites, ensuring they meet stringent ecological standards.LocationFlexible home working with regular travel to Leeds as well as the around the UK will be required.Based in Leeds, this role involves regular travel throughout England and Wales. A company car will be provided, and occasional overnight stays may be necessary. A valid UK driving license is essential.Responsibilities & Tasks· Foster and cultivate key client relationships, positioning our client as the premier provider of long-term stewardship for residential developments.· Champion our services within the ecological sphere, taking ownership of promotional literature specific to ecological initiatives.· Develop robust policies and procedures relating to ecological aspects of our management services to guarantee compliance.· Facilitate effective internal and external communication, particularly in response to environmental inquiries.· Provide ongoing support and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events.· Maintain ISO 14001 certification for Environmental Management.Ideal Candidate Profile· A qualification in Ecology or Sustainable Land Management is preferred, supporting advisory roles and service promotion.· Affiliation with a relevant professional body is advantageous.· Proficiency in BNG legislation and other environmental regulations impacting the housebuilding sector, such as Nutrient Neutrality and Water Neutrality, is desirable.· Exceptional communication and client management skills, both written and verbal, are essential for acting as the primary liaison for ecological and sustainability matters.Rewards & BenefitsMy client offers a highly competitive salary complemented by a suite of enticing benefits including fully expensed company car This role presents an outstanding opportunity to join a forward-thinking organization with ambitious growth plans.
