Landsec is shaping a better future by leading our industry on environmental and social sustainability while delivering value for our shareholders, great experiences for our guests and positive change for our communities.The Role:Responsible for the management and control of all Building Information Modelling (BIM) document control and Common Data Environment (CDE) administration across all Landsec projects, facilitated through BIM and onboarded onto Landsec’s chosen CDE, Business Collaborator (BC). Responsible for training all Landsec employees and external teams working on live CDE projects to engage with the CDE appropriately.Salary: Up to £45,000 per annumThe Team:You will be working in London Project Management team, supporting office projects.What you will be responsible for:Responsible for the management and control all project document flow in the Common Data Environment (CDE) across all BIM enabled projects to ensure accurate registration, storage of drawings, specifications and all other project information.Ensure accurate liaison through conversations and meetings with design team, site team, subcontractors, customers, external suppliers and any other teams as appropriate to ensure team are utilising processes correctly.Provide subject matter expertise and coaching on the use of Business Collaborator to relevant teams.Lead the internal and external teams to set up and manage the Document Control systems and procedures for all BIM enabled projects in the CDE.Lead the internal Landsec team to govern the use of the CDE, and audit that it is being used correctly.Manage the requirements for document control on the project to ensure implementation and compliance to standards established within the Business Management System (BMS).Identify contractual requirements in relation to Document Control and relay information to Project Directors and line manager, as well as to other members of the team engaging with BIM and CDE.Ensure accurate and thorough control of documentation from pre-construction through to completion and archiving.Liaise with project teams to ensure they have a full understanding of document control and system procedures and compliance with the EIRs. Provide training and instruction as required to individuals and / or large groups of people such that documentation control requirements are met.Ensure that procedures are fully implemented in order to meet requirements of the CDE, the employer’s requirements and other documentation and information systems e.g Business Collaborator. If procedures aren’t being followed, rectify and explain to the notified teams / persons what was incorrect and what can be done to resolve the situation.Ensure implementation and compliance to standards established within the Employers information requirements (EIR’s).Liaise and manage the process flow of as built documents from Main Contractors to Landsec’s chosen CDE.Liaise and manage the process flow of as built documents from Landsec to Tenant’s and or the Tenant’s Fit Out Contractor and vice versa.Advise on CDE matters including but not limited to CDE updates, enhancements to the chosen platform, and alternative platforms / systems. Provide budget advice where necessary,Provide limited internal training where necessary on how to administer Landsec’s chosen CDE. Ensure accurate control of documentation.Manage business archiving such that all documentation is stored efficiently.Audit internal use of CDE within Landsec and coach colleagues to utilise CDE appropriately.Configure new projects in the CDE.Create new users and assigning to projects in the CDE.Liaise with CDE supplier.Liaise with internal IT team.Act as subject matter expert / business owner of CDE.Your skills, experience and qualifications:Essential criteriaPrevious experience within CDEExperience with document controlAttention to detailLife and Benefits at LandsecWe have a great benefits package, there to support you with your work-life balance and in moments that matter.
