Position: Billing Manager �35,000 per annum.
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester
Company Overview: My client is a well-established and rapidly growing service business based in Salford. With a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, they are expanding their operations and seeking a dynamic leader to drive the billing team forward.
Role Overview: As the Billing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of billing operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and regulations. You will lead a team of 15 billing professionals including one TL, providing guidance, support, and training to maximize team performance and achieve departmental objectives. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the billing team, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and career development.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize billing processes, minimize errors, and reduce billing cycle times.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of invoices, statements, and other billing documents.
Monitor billing metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to billing and revenue management.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
Proven ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a billing department
Minimum 2 years experience in a Management / Leadership role in a billing discipline
Proven track record for improving processes and solving problems
Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate direct reports
This is an office based role and will require someone to be in the office Monday-Friday
