We are looking for strong communicators, with a proactive approach to SDLC and Agile working, whilst being able to work under direction in a large project team with a contributory approach to daily stand-up meetings. You will Contribute back to end client to ensure they receive the best return on outsource investment and report on progress and escalate issues in a timely manner. THE TECHNICAL SKILLS: Data Developers, Big Data Developers or Data Engineers who have demonstrable experience of Designing, coding and testing simple high-level items downwards and have exposure in migrating workloads to Hadoop platforms will be of interest to our client. HDP Certification is essential for this role. Knowledge of Data Ingestion, Transformation, Analytics and Data Visualisation tools experience is required. THE ADDITIONALS: Developers/Engineers with at least 3 years’ commercial experience with Hortonworks Platform, Spark, Python, Hive, Sqoop, Kafka, MapReduce, YARN will be of interest. A good understanding of the full software development lifecycle is also important. THE DESIRABLES: Developers/Engineers with commercial knowledge of frameworks such SQL Server and Tableau : are likely to receive an immediate interview request.
