Job DescriptionAs a Biddable Account Director, you will sit within the performance team and oversee delivery of biddable (Social and PPC) performance activity for two key UK clients, across two very different sectors. You will be your clients’ senior contact, responsible for defining and evolving the biddable performance strategy that will help deliver their business objectives. To achieve this, you will lead a team of biddable performance specialists, being responsible for your direct lines and more broadly organising the team to deliver best-in-class work for your clients. Your role is to organise, inspire and innovate across this team for the optimal output for your clients. You will serve as a core source of information for the wider agency and for your clients, driving deep integration before all other client teams within the agency. Alongside this you’ll have a keen sense of commercial awareness, helping identify revenue opportunities both within digital performance and broader opportunities from OMD’s wider additional services.RESPONSIBILITIES ·Lead the team end-to-end; from briefing and planning through to activation and reporting·Apply best-practice methods & principles to deliver performance campaigns across Paid Social and PPC, as well as high impact brand campaigns for our clients·Develop a deep understanding of your clients’ business visions, brand & marketing strategies and be familiar with historical activity, learnings and future plans·Communicate with clients, media owners & other roster agencies in a way that can influence and persuade, managing any difficult conversations in a professional manner·Effectively manage your own and the team’s resource and workload pressures, communicating any issues upwards in a clear and timely manner·Drive innovation within client pods; actively seeking media first betas & continually testing new strategies to drive improved performance·Identify case study opportunities within clients and build out into award entries·Manage finance queries with wider OMD teams to ensure queries are reconciled speedilySKILLS & EXPERTISE·This role requires an excellent strategic understanding of the digital performance ecosystem, with expert knowledge of paid search and paid social·Proven track record of delivering performance campaigns and measurable business results for clients across paid social and search·Detailed understanding of upper and lower funnel measurement solutions, methodology and implementation·Strategic level understanding of all digital performance channels·Leadership, innovative thinking & team management·Expressed interest in charity and entertainment verticalsWHY OMD?At OMD we passionately believe that our agency should look and feel like Real Britain, representing all of the diverse communities that make up the UK today.
