The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Bid Writer to support the Bid Manager and the wider work-winning team within our client’s Preconstruction department. You will be responsible for authoring content, writing persuasive bids and supporting the tender process to access local frameworks covering new build and refurbishment projects across the North West in areas such social housing, student accommodation, healthcare and education. The successful candidate will be part of the business development and management teams, preparing, scoping and writing bids and tenders of varying size from £2m to £10m and working in partnership with the estimation, design and commercial teams.
Skills & Experience:
Ideally you will be degree educated with excellent written and verbal communication skills in a bid writing role. You will be adept in persuasive writing and be highly proficient in the MS Office including PowerPoint, Adobe and Publisher. You will also have experience of reviewing bid submissions and have an very high attention to detail and quality. Applications will also be considered for newly Graduates who have an art for writing and wish to explore a career as a Bid Writer.
