Workman's Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded and long-established Social Housing Contractor renowned for its exceptional service in offering building maintenance and construction services to housing associations, councils, and the education sector for over the last 80 years in London and surrounding home counties.



You will be an integral part of their dynamic New Business and Marketing Department, collaborating closely with a cohesive team to secure contracts and engage with both new and existing clients within the social housing sector. This may involve liaising with various stakeholders, including local authorities, councils, and housing associations.



Responsibilities:




  • Effectively manage multiple selection questionnaires and tender submissions through various stages of the procurement process

  • Read and thoroughly review all associated client documentation about the bid

  • Conduct research comprehensively and produce compelling content to support bids

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a library of responses

  • Review bid submissions meticulously for quality and accuracy



Requirements:




  • Demonstrated experience working with main contractors and familiarity with Social Housing and Local Authority clients

  • Ideally, possess a degree in English or a related writing-based subject

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Bid writing and tender experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Working Hours:




  • Monday to Friday

  • 40 Hours Per Week
