Job Title: Bid Writer
Location: Manchester
Salary: �25,000 - �40,000 DOE
Summary:
We are seeking a self-motivated Bid Writer to join our team, responsible for crafting high-quality bids and submissions. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. This is an office-based role with occasional client visits, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact. This role is ideal for construction professionals with at least one years' experience post graduate.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support from initial enquiry to tender submission, including bid writing input across various scales of projects.
Manage the in-house CRM database and monitor dedicated opportunities software.
Take ownership of client portals/frameworks, handling daily alerts and maintaining portal logins.
Edit and proofread material thoroughly to ensure accuracy and grammatical correctness.
Collaborate with the team to develop compelling Social Value Bid responses.
Review all client documents before bid launch meetings.
Work with the Senior Bid Manager to develop clear win strategies for each bid, ensuring compelling win themes.
Manage and contribute to written proposals, focusing on content and presentation.
Ensure timely achievement of timescales at each step of the bid process.
Utilise software i.e. InDesign, Photoshop etc to create and update project case studies and staff CVs
Review client feedback to implement lessons learnt for future bids
Requirements:
Minimum one year of experience in bid writing or a related field.
Strong writing skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in managing administrative tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude with a drive for success.
