A big name in the industry is seeking a proficient Bid Manager to spearhead and oversee bid/tender projects for our clientele which will include direct clients, insurers, and brokers.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the various teams to compile information essential for tender submissions and conduct comprehensive research on prospective businesses to assist our suitability for winning the tender.
Responsibilities include:
Manage, collate and execute tender projects for major clients
Collaborate with various internal teams to gather all necessary information required for tender submissions.
Work closely with the data teams to provide essential data, projection figures, and conduct thorough research on prospective businesses
Liaise with internal teams to showcase the companies offerings and suitability effectively
Prepare and meticulously review commercial aspects of bids, ensuring all client queries are addressed
Facilitate introductions between clients and relevant team members, managing and developing these relationships over time.
Requirements:
Proven track record in bid/proposition management or similar roles within the insurance industry
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and research capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and market trends effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments to achieve common goals.
Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Previous experience in handling tender projects with large clients is highly desirable.
