MBR Partners seeks a Bid Manager for a leading telecoms vendor client. They continue to expand their market presence and need an experienced and motivated Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to lead a proposal development process and contribute significantly to the growth and success of the company.
Position Summary
As the Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end proposal development process, ensuring the delivery of compelling and winning proposals to clients. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will strategize, write, and produce persuasive proposals that highlight strengths, expertise, and capabilities. The role requires exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality proposals that differentiate in the market.
Key requirements
Several years of relevant bid expereince ideally within Technology and Software industries
Strong organizational skills;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams;
Utilizing Proposal Management tools for efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the Bid activity including the process and execution of proposal strategies,
Collaborate with subject matter experts, sales, and technical teams
Analyze RFPs/RFIs and other bid documents to understand requirements thoroughly and develop compliant and responsive proposals
Craft compelling and persuasive proposal narratives, ensuring articulation of the value proposition and competitive advantages
Create visually engaging proposal presentations using multimedia elements where appropriate
Coordinate and manage proposal schedules, ensuring timely submission and adherence to deadlines
Conduct thorough proposal reviews, incorporating feedback from stakeholders, to enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of proposals
Maintain a comprehensive database of proposal content and reusable materials to streamline future proposal development
Facilitate Proposal / Quote content development, ensuring that all final responses are received by the approved person within each department. This includes ensuring that each of these individuals has had an opportunity to review and comment prior to submission of the RFx response to the customer
Edit and format the final response to the RFx
Produce the final document in the appropriate format and ensure it is complete and professional for
submission to the customer
Store submittals/responses in the designated location for future reference
Performs other duties as requested/assigned.
