Currently, they are seeking a talented and experienced Bid Manager to work within the Pre-Construction Team. As a Business, they work on projects up to circa £100m. Bid Manager Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bid Manager to join our client's team. As a Bid Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the bid process from inception to completion, ensuring the delivery of winning bids that align with the company's strategic objectives.Bid Manager Responsibilities:Lead the bid process, from identifying opportunities and developing strategies to submitting winning bids.Collaborate with various stakeholders including estimators, designers, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive bid proposals.Conduct thorough bid evaluations, risk assessments, and competitor analysis to optimise bid success rates.Manage the bid documentation process, ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal quality standards.Coordinate with senior management to align bid strategies with overall business objectives.Maintain a keen awareness of industry trends, market conditions, and client requirements to inform bid strategies. Bid Manager Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.Proven experience in Bid Management, Pre-Construction or Design Management within the construction industry, preferably with a Tier 1 Main Contractor.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven mindset.Proficiency in bid management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
