Reports to: Business Development DirectorJob SummaryDuties, roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Own the Bid Process – PQQ, RFP’s, Presentations• To identify market sectors beneficial for Facilities to work in• To identify commercial properties and / or organisations in those sectors that Vertex would like to work with• Identify decision makers within these properties / organisations• Identify and obtain opportunity time scales e.g. maintenance contract renewal dates• Completing the Commercial analysis & Risk profile• Completing an analysis of the Specification• Attending strategy meetings with Operations• Preparing for the tender adjudication meetings• Generate new sales opportunities• Bid Documentation Design and CollationMarketing:To assist with marketing, PR and advertising functions across Facilities to promote the company including, but not limited to:• Internal communications• Liaising with external agencies• Attending client meetings• Maintaining accurate and organised project files• Website and intranet updatesBusiness Development:To assist with sales and business development functions across the company to promote the company including, but not limited to:• Raising awareness of the company in the FM market• Market knowledge• Representing the company at events and exhibitions• Maintaining and developing professional relationshipsGeneral:To be a ‘team player’ within the officeHelping colleagues, as and when necessary, especially to meet deadlinesContribute effort towards Company Vision and Mission and observe Company values when actioning your objectivesCommunication:The post-holder should recognise the importance of effective communication within the team and will strive to:Communicate effectively with other team membersRecognise people’s needs for alternative methods of communication and respond accordingly Personal/Professional
