My client is a global business with a fantastic network of facilities across many different sectors. In this role, we have an exciting opportunity for a tender, Bid Manager to join the growing Bid and Marketing team in Rotherham. Reporting straight into the Business Manager, you will be
responsible for writing, creation and search for tenders. The role is integral to the growth of our client and will work closely with the commercial, sales, and operations teams to gain all the required technical information to form a winning tender response. As the business continues to evolve, you will also have the opportunity to get involved in a number of exciting and challenging projects too with a strong career progression route.
Responsibilities: Applying winning techniques and principles to draft and create winning tenders.
Full ownership from inception to completion of tenders allocated as lead.
Identify upcoming opportunities through tender sites.
Review past tenders and identify areas for improvement.
Conducting research to enhance and innovate current bids.
Continuous development of the bid library including writing new content, proofing statements, and improving from bid feedback.
Implementing a contract management process.
Monitoring inboxes and portals for new tender opportunities as they arise and notifying the team.
Downloading all tender documents, understanding requirements, and arranging kick off meetings.
Liaising with customers after award for contracts, meetings, feedback and follow ups.
Raising and monitoring clarifications.
Keeping the bid tracker up to date and accurate, providing weekly updates to the team on upcoming/outstanding tenders. Secondary Role: Support content writing for marketing literature across UK businesses.
Plan and update monthly content calendars for new blog, social and email content.
Support wider Marketing team with any ad hoc requests. Core Qualities & Attributes: Incredibly organised.
