Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Bid Manager to join a cutting-edge technology start-up company based in the Oxfordshire area. As the Bid Manager you will be responsible for leading the income generation efforts by engaging with grantors and public health institutes across the global public health network, as well as writing grant application documents and commercial proposals.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Bid Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. As Bid Manager you will lead income generation efforts by engaging with grantors and public health institutes across the global pathogen genomics network, and develop and implement strategies to secure funding from various sources.2. You will write grant application documents, focusing on clarity, impact, and alignment with the organisational goals.3. As Bid Manager you will craft commercial proposals that communicate value proposition and potential social impact, as well as create social impact case studies showcasing the organisations achievements and outcomes.4. You will maintain a thorough understanding of funding opportunities, trends, and regulations in the global public health sector, collaborating closely with internal teams to gather necessary information and scientific insights for proposals.ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Bid Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Relevant PhD or degree in a life science based subject (e.g. Biomedical Science or Bioinformatics)2. Proven industry experience engaging with grantors and public health institutes to lead income generation, and writing grant application documents.3.
