This is an exciting role for someone who wants to develop their career learning how to sell and deliver technology solutions. The fast-paced role will be part of a successful, growing team.This will be a remote role, with offices nationwide including Edinburgh, London, or Birmingham, Belfast or Dublin.RelationshipsThe role holder will need to liaise with the following roles to ensure the best quality Bid Administration:Head of BidsBid ManagersAdvisory ServicesDelivery / Project ManagersTechnical ArchitectsResponsibilitiesDaily management of Tender mailbox, Tender portals, Calendar Invites for Bids and bid informationSending opportunities to the sales team and registering interestDownloading bid documents and adding them to the Tender registerChecking internally, the level of interest for potential bid opportunities that have been identifiedAssist in the delivery of bids, ensuring pre-qualification questionnaires, proposals and tenders are completed on timeUpdating and maintaining the bid and resource librariesAdministration of the bid automation tool (Loopio)Ensure all proposals are formatted and comply with company brand guidelines and Client requirementsWorking alongside Bid Managers, support all levels of the Bid process lifecycle, including:Pre-QualificationBid Planning and Production with 3-5 Years of experience Act as a single point of contact for customers and bidsMaintain Bid Site/DocumentationAssist in reviewing/editing contributions to bidCollate and maintain clarification registers, sending to customers and coordinating return of responsesObtain hours worked on bids and complete cost tracking sheetsWorking with the team to build an efficient bid department with best-practice processes and initiativesManaging bid tracking and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)QualificationsYou will have:Exposure working with bid department and/or experience in bid coordination and preparationAn understanding of the structure of the UK Public SectorAbility to work on multiple tasks at one timeStrong attention to detail and a focus on consistent qualityStrong time management with effective prioritisation of tasks, recognising and flagging issues outside area of own expertiseStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at all levelsFriendly self-starter, able to meet tight deadlines and balance prioritiesExperience of building good relationshipsExcellent Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills (Graphic Design skills also beneficial).Ideally, understanding or experience in working in IT Services and technology solutions environmentIdeally, an understanding of Bid Automation tools, for example Loopio, Qvidian Responsive (formally RFPioAdditional InformationWhy Version 1?Strong Career Progression & mentorship coaching through our Strength in Balance and leadership schemes with a dedicated quarterly Pathways Career Development review Moments that matter & our enhanced maternity & paternity leave policies for life’s journey A large training budget for accreditations and educational assistance for courses relevant to your role. WaysWellbeing activities: an innovative Well Tech Scheme, Yoga, Online Fitness Version 1 Annual Excellence Awards & our ‘ Call-Out’ platform where performance is called out and recognised Our active ESG & CSR initiative allows you to get involved in local fundraising and development opportunities as part of fostering our diversity, inclusion, and belonging schemes. Quarterly performance-related profit shareCertified Great Place to Work for 10 years in a rowCareer Progression (496 CPD Promotions in last 12 months)Flexible and Remote working OptionsWide range of reward schemes including:Version 1 Excellence Awards (annual)Fostering several Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging schemesThis is an opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing Microsoft Consultancies in Ireland & the UK.PLUS, many more exciting benefits… drop us a note to find out more.
