Job DescriptionBI Report Developer – Hampshire - £55K – 12 Month FTC Are you an experienced BI Report Developer looking for a new challenge? We’re partnered with a company in the mobility sector who are in need of a BI Report Developer who will be responsible for facilitating fleet reporting that enables them to gain a competitive advantage. This will involve document design and output within the reporting framework.You’ll be working closely with other parts of the business, such as Application Services or Business Analysts, with the main objective being to enhance the companies reporting capabilities in data storage, mobile application reporting, data warehousing and more. You’ll also ensure optimal performance of all reports, and adherence to existing governance frameworks.It’s a fantastic opportunity to be a part of projects that have immediate, practical applications and help revolutionise the company’s offerings. They have a whole host of exciting projects they’re waiting for you to help with, and you will be pivotal in enabling their future success and get to make a real change with your work.Responsibilities include:Act as the principal reporting Subject Matter Expert (SME) for projects, involving tasks such as impact assessment, report development, documentation of requirements, report specifications, and aiding testers.Comprehend business requirements to facilitate efficient report development with minimal defects and post-release alterations.Ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives.Continuously engage in bug fixing, addressing change requests and optimizing performance across all reports.Enhance quality by implementing effective procedures that streamline report analysis.Maintain accurate management updates within development tracking tools.Guarantee adequate unit and business testing.Required Skills / Experience: Strong SQL is essential, as is 3 years of experience with SSRS report writing and development.1 Year of experience with Azure BI Tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Analysis Services and PowerBI.Demonstrated capability in crafting visually appealing and impactful dashboards / reports.Excellent communication skills are crucial as you’ll collaborate with various business sectors.Active SC Clearance (although please do get in touch if it has only recently lapsed!).Bonus Experience:Financial services background would be highly beneficial.Experience of working within IT governance frameworks e.g. ISO27001, ISO9001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.Benefits Include:25 Days HolidayEmployee Car SchemeEnhanced Company Sick PayExcellent Pension schemeIf you have the experience mentioned above please apply for immediate consideration.
