About the job Role: BI Analyst Location: Manchester (2-4 days per month) Harmonic is delighted to partner with a national organisation, on a mission to become the partner of choice for developing people and their communities. They have a rapidly growing Business Intelligence department with their work in data having a positive impact on communities across the UK. To hit the ground running in this role, you will have a proven ability in SQL, Power BI, and DAX, and an ability to use data to tell a story through high-level visualisations. If you work on exciting projects and make a real difference with your work, then this could be the perfect role for you! Job Responsibilities:
Building/maintaining Power BI data models with requirements from other teams Performing data manipulation and transformation within cloud technologies such as Azure and SnowflakeCreation of dashboard MI through the use of SQL and Power BIDocumenting and recording any structural changes to Azure/SnowflakeProvide daily BI as requiredDevelopment of BI tool generated reportsPreparation of robust performance statisticsAssist the Head of BI in ad-hoc reporting tasks Skills and experience:
Proven experience in Power BI and DAXStrong SQL experienceAbility to use data to tell a story in a clear and concise mannerStrong communication skills - ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audienceExposure to Snowflake or ADF (Bonus) Benefits:
