We are working with a Bank to recruit a Benefits Manager to join their team in London. This role will report to the Head of Rewards and Benefits. This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office).

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic professional to join the Reward and Benefits team in the role of Benefit & Rewards Manager. In this role your primary focus will be on the implementation and management of the comprehensive benefits offerings. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the total rewards package not only aligns with the bank's strategic objectives, but that it is also competitive, supports employee well-being, and contributes to the attraction, retention, and motivation of top talent in the highly competitive financial industry. In addition this role will have accountabilities as a Reward business partner with a set client group in the business - being involved in compensation coaching to people managers. You will be an integral part of the team and an important member of the HR function.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Management and optimisation of employee benefit programs, including Private Medical Insurance, the competitive pension offering and other employee benefits
  • Contribute to the evaluation of current benefits offerings and suggest improvements to enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about legal and regulatory changes affecting compensation and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements and requirements as part of the FCA
  • Drive communication strategies that effectively convey the value of the bank's reward and benefits programs to employees and embed our benefits offering
  • Support educational initiatives to help employees understand and maximise their compensation and benefits packages
  • Drive data analytics to evaluate the impact of reward and benefits programs on employee engagement and satisfaction and recommend pivots/enhancements as relevant
  • Contribute insights based on data analysis to drive continuous improvement in the client's offerings.
  • Collaborate in managing relationships with external vendors, consultants, and third-party providers involved in the delivery of reward and benefits programmes
  • Participate in market research activities to ensure the compensation packages remain attractive and aligned with industry standards.

Experience normally associated with successful performance of role:

  • Driven, self-motivated and disciplined, with demonstrable appetite to maximise reward and business success
  • Ability to operate at pace
  • Good communication and influencing skills, ability to present articulately and comprehensively
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience and subject matter expertise in Benefits is essential for this role
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and present findings effectively
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience with salary benchmarking is desirable
