Job overview: We are seeking a skilled bench hand Joiner with on site experience to join our team. You will be expected to manufacture and fit a variety of joinery products including the use of power tools and machinery. A vast knowledge and understanding in the construction of staircase, cabinets, timber windows and doors is essential.

  • Position: Bench Joiner
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Rate: �16 p/h PAYE
  • Working hours: 06:30 am -15:00 pm (Mon-Thur) 06:30 am - 13:00 pm (Fri)
  • Double time on weekends

Duties :

  • Setting out
  • Machining
  • Construction of joinery products
  • Paint preparation
  • Onsite installation of finished products
  • Reactive maintenance Skills
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the joinery trade in a workshop environment is essential
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Ability to work in a team, with other trades and follow instructions
  • Knowledge of different types of wood and their properties
  • Strong attention to detail
