Bench Joiner

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and joinery, as well as proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Duties:

- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood materials according to specifications

- Construct and install cabinets, doors, windows, and other wooden structures

- Repair or replace damaged wooden components

- Install hardware such as hinges, locks, and handles

- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects

- Ensure all work is completed accurately and meets quality standards

- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter

- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, and planes

- Familiarity with power tools such as drills, sanders, and routers

- Knowledge of joinery techniques and principles

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Strong attention to detail and precision

- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting or prolonged standing

- Basic knowledge of other trades such as masonry, painting, or electrical work is a plus
