About the role - Behaviour Teaching Assistant - PRU - Brent

In your role as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to work in the classroom supporting students with their academic studies, as well as supporting their social development. In addition to assisting students with their class work, you will also be helping them with their behaviour as well. In this provision, there are students who are experiencing emotional or behavioural difficulties, as well as problems with anger, mental health issues, and school phobia/refusal, among others. In addition to outside of the classroom, there are a variety of interventions designed to support children with their behavioural needs. As a Behaviour Teacher assistant, you will be involved in these interventions either by running them or by supporting them.

About the PRU - Brent

Located in Brent, this facility serves 80 children who have been excluded from mainstream education. Students with highly challenging behaviour as well as SEMH needs are supported by an outstanding staffing team. There is onsite parking available at this facility and it is also located within walking distance of local transportation.
