Behaviour Teaching Assistant - PRU - Hackney - immediate start - �80 - �100 a day!

Currently, Teach360 is seeking a strong Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team in a secondary school that caters to children who are unable to attend mainstream schools. It is common for children to be referred there if they require more care and support than can be provided by their schools. Students attending this PRU have been permanently excluded or are at risk of being permanently excluded from their mainstream school for behavioural reasons.

About the role - Behaviour Teaching Assistant - PRU - Hackney

Your role as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant will require you to assist students in their academic studies and with their behaviour. As well as assisting students with their classwork, you are likely to assist them with their behaviour. In this provision, there are a number of students who exhibit emotional or behavioural problems, including issues with anger, mental health issues, school phobias, and refusals to attend school. As a Behaviour Teacher Assistant you will have an opportunity to interact with children outside of the classroom by developing interventions that are designed to support their behavioural needs. These interventions will either be run by you or you will provide support during their implementation.
