Daily Rate: £84 - £115

Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the London Borough of Bexley is recruiting an experienced Behaviour TA or Behaviour Mentor / SEN TA to work on a contract basis.  This is a 5 day a week role is to start straight away.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to students with SEMH, Autism, and behaviour complexities in 1:1 and small group settings. They will also be responsible for de-escalating challenging behaviour and providing support to students with EHCPs.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH, Autism, and behaviour complexities
• De-escalate challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
• Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents
• Attend meetings with parents, teachers, and other professionals as required
• Provide support to students with EHCPs, ensuring that their needs are met and their progress is monitored
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
• Previous experience working as a Behaviour TA / Behaviour Mentor / SEN TA n a similar setting
• Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques
• Experience working with students with SEMH, Autism, and behaviour complexities
• Understanding of EHCPs and the ability to provide support to students with these plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• You have an Enhanced DBS or able to buy a new one ASAP
• You live in easy commutable distance to the London Borough of Bexley
