This role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students, helping them manage their behaviour and excel academically. As a Teaching Assistant specialising in Behavioural Support for you will play a vital role in the educational development and well-being of young students.Key Responsibilities:Providing one-on-one support to children with behavioural needsEnsuring the emotional and academic progress.Assisting in the development and implementation of behaviour management plans.Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to create an inclusive environment.Working with small groups of students, to support their classwork and encourage positive behaviour.The ideal candidate for this role will have:Previous experience working with children with behavioural needs in an educational setting.A patient and empathetic nature, with a deep understanding of behaviour management techniques.Excellent communication skills are essential.Relevant teaching assistant qualifications or training are desirable.If you are passionate about helping students with behavioural needs succeed in their education and believe you have the skills and experience required for this role, we encourage you to apply.
