Beauty Writer

Stylist is looking for a Beauty Writer brimming with enthusiasm, knowledge and passion for the beauty industry. In this exciting role, you’ll produce fast, accurate copy every day, with a focus on the brand’s digital beauty section and Stylist Loves newsletter. You’ll be creative, full of ideas and passionate about building a career in beauty journalism.
About the role:
You will be responsible for generating unique, exciting and exclusive beauty news and feature ideas, and see them through from pitch to publication.
You will maintain Stylist’s competitive advantage in publishing the most relevant breaking beauty stories to our readers in the morning.
You’ll contribute to the brand’s iconic Style List with knowledge of the latest beauty launches.
You’ll be involved in creating video and static content for Stylist’s social feeds, appearing in the content when required.
You’ll be involved in regular brainstorming meetings, where you’ll be expected to come brimming with ideas and visual materials.
You’ll act as a representative of the Stylist brand at beauty events and in the media when required.
About you:
You have a true passion for beauty and great knowledge of brands, products, news and experts in the industry.
You’re able to deliver copy to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
You have some knowledge of SEO practices.
You have existing relationships with key contacts, experts and PRs in the beauty industry.
