That includes homes, businesses, and complex outdoor sites.About the RoleReporting directly to the Commercial Finance Business Partner, this role is to ensure that all the financial reporting requirements for this government subsidy are delivered in a timely and accurate manner. This will involve working with stakeholders across the business, as well as with delivery partners and the UK government to ensure accurate cost capture, reporting, subsidy processing and management reporting.You will be responsible for:BDUK Reporting -Ensure all financial updates to BDUK are updated in the BDUK Financial Model.Documentation of all costs in BDUK template.Allocation of costs to nodes.Update BDUK Finance Model.Monthly Financial Reporting to BDUK.Cost Capture and Control -Working with the Build teams, ensure build costs are identified, collated, evidenced, and appropriately reported.Track all project related costs, including supplier invoices, incremental resources, and headcount allocation.Capture and store backup evidence for all project related costs.Provide internal governance on cost control, including system development and operating spend.Subsidy Processing -Assurance and processing of all subsidy claims and receipts.Subsidy True-Up Calculation Validation.Subsidy Invoicing.Subsidy Account Receivables management.Clawback Calculation and Validation.Monitoring of the claw-back mechanism, flagging risk where appropriate.Management Reporting -Prepare internal management reporting and planning updates, including to our Investors as required.Monthly Performance Reporting (Subsidy Eligible and Commercial Premises).Internal IRR model update (Eligible and Commercial).Finance Partner to the Project Manager and project teams.Manage the interplay between internal reporting requirements and the BDUK financial modelWhat we are looking for:Preferably ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent and have a minimum of 5 years in a finance manager or equivalent role.Must have prior experience in managing a finance team and multiple financial functions.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Netsuite knowledge preferred).Strong understanding of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and ability to apply accounting principles to complex transactions as well as consolidation experience.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues at all levels.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.What we offer in return:25 days annual leave, plus Bank HolidaysLife assuranceIncome Protection8% matching on our Pension schemeBike to Work and Electric Vehicle schemes.Health Cash PlanWellbeing and Social initiativesOpportunity to sign up to the Training Events via our Access development portalEmployee referral schemeEqual Opportunities:We are committed to equality and diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities.To find out more about your next employer, visit www.voneus.comWe do not require the services of any recruitment agencies at this time.
