BDM / Account Manager FMCG food Hybrid £70000 Car Allowance,London, HybridThe BDM / Account Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering sales expansion and developing a broader customer portfolio within the Wholesale and Foodservice sector. This position involves the establishment of a business from its beginning, requiring strategic planning, effective client relationship management, identification of new product opportunities, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and objectives.This is a new role, where you can make your mark in this growing and established company. Great Opportunity to progress.Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesStrategic Sales Planning:
* In conjunction with the MD assess research and develop insights, determine priorities, and set targets.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market penetration and revenue growth in the Wholesale and Foodservice sector.
* Prioritise products and customers to drive profitable sales quickly.Customer Relationship Management:
* Utilise existing network to identify immediate opportunities and deliver quick wins.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support.Product Development
* Identify market opportunities and gaps in product offerings.
* Work collaboratively with the product development team to create solutions that meet market needs and customer demands.Market Analysis & Reporting:
* Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
* Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.Collaboration & Coordination
* Work closely with marketing, finance, procurement and supply chain to ensure alignment of company goals and seamless customer service.EducationExperience (Years)Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Foodservice industry.Additional training in sales, marketing, or product development is a plus.AttributesExperienceStrong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in a competitive market.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Results-driven approach with a strong customer orientation.Experience in identifying market trends and product opportunities.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.The ideal candidate will have worked within Food industry and have a good network of clients
