Job Description:
As a Barclays Data Science Lead you will work within the Client Experience team within the Private Bank. You will be accountable for leading a new team focused on data science which will help provide details and shape insights strategy for the Business. This is an exciting opportunity as you will be responsible for sourcing data from various areas internally and externally to present to the business, and to agree the service improvement priorities.

Job Responsibilities:
Chairing and managing working groups and action owners who will work on the improvements required
Building and managing data science team in order to help provided proper data management to deliver on the prospect and client vision and objectives
Working to tease out meaningful and actionable insights from collected data from prospect engine and current clients that will help us to grow our client base
Leading the strategic direction of the Insight programme across PB and ensure senior leadership buy in to the approach
Using conceptual and innovative thinking to develop ground breaking analysis and creative solutions through understanding our prospects and clients better
Transform the teams from a market research provider to a strategic partner to the business, providing timely and relevant client satisfaction and feedback insights
Analysing the business’ strengths and weaknesses against the key drivers of satisfaction, identifying the priority areas and then work collaboratively across the wider business
Using data to explore how to exponentially improve products as well as day-to-day operations which will ensure a better client experience
Job Requirements:
A first class general academic track record is desirable; an aptitude in Mathematics is also essential with Strong numeric / analytical skills
Experience of a customer service orientated environment for the majority of their career with technical knowledge of how client experience metrics are measured / influenced
Excellent understanding of how data-oriented technologies work / data science
Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to present to and influence key stakeholders
