Here’s more about the role:You can imaginethat mealtimes are a huge part of the day in our care home. We’relooking for a Chef Manager who will manage the day to day running of abusy kitchen as well as managing an Assistant Chef and a team ofCatering Assistants.Your duties will include preparing andcooking meals to meet the dietary requirements of our residents. Youwill keep track of stock and waste and ensure that the kitchen remainsclean and tidy whilst operating within budget. Other duties includecarrying out risk assessments as well as recruiting and trainingstaff.You’ll have daily interaction with residents,visitors and colleagues; therefore we’re looking for someone who isfriendly, approachable and passionate.Experience ofcatering for the dietary requirements of older people and a valid foodhygiene certificate are essential.Benefits and rewardsWe know you work so hard and being the best ChefManager you can be needs to be rewarded.
