We have an exciting opportunity to bring on an Administrator to join our Physiotherapy department at our Spire Parkway Hospital, located in Solihull. This role would be on a Bank contract - meaning this would be a 0-hour contract where you have the flexibility to work when you can take on shifts to cover annual leave, sickness or should the Hiring Manager require additional headcount.
Duties and responsibilities
Opening and closing of department.
Arrange physiotherapy appointments for patients, either in person or by telephone.
Receive all patients, ensuring a smooth patient journey throughout.
To ensure all physiotherapy bookings are entered accurately in SAP, the hospital computer system.
To register all patients as they arrive and update information accurately in SAP, the hospital computer system.
To assist in ensuring all physiotherapy charges are accurately processed.
To answer telephones and respond to queries in a timely manner.
To accurately confirm details of appointments via letter.
To maintain appointment diaries for the Physiotherapists.
To adhere to the hospital Health and Safety policy and any other relevant policies.
To prepare consultant clinic lists and registration forms.
Make appointments in RIS for Imaging, liaising with the imaging department when necessary.
Who we're looking for
Superior customer service and people skills.
Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Keyboard knowledge essential.
Efficient and tidy both in job and appearance.
Can work as part of a team, but at the same time has the ability to use their own initiative and work independently when required.
