Please see attached job description for more information about this role and working at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.Main duties of the jobThe Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a fulltime band 8a clinical specialist sonographer.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sonographer to join our friendly and diverse team.As a sonographer at the trust, you will be involved with the delivery of Ultrasound services covering the main ultrasound departments, Antenatal Clinic, Fetal Medicine Unit, Acute Gynae and Early Pregnancy Unit.You must be clinically highly competent and keen to contribute towards efficient service delivery. A Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma in ultrasound (PgDip) or DMU qualification is essential for this role.If you are an ambitious Sonographer, seeking a flexible role, then we would love to hear from you.Your Independent practice would include scanning and reporting of your own sessions. Also teaching of students, organising junior staff, professional development, audit and collaborative projects are required.Support for consultant sonographers and managers are part of this advanced Band 8a role.Some Cross site rotation through Barnet, Chase Farm, Edgware, Finchley and Hadley Wood hospitals may be required depending on service needs.About usThe Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK's biggest and most innovative trusts.
