Band 7 Chief Cardiac Physiologist - Fixed Term Are you a qualified cardiac physiologist with experience in cardiac rhythm management? Then this could be the opportunity you are looking for.BHRUT is one of the largest University Hospitals, providing acute care for over 700,000 people from across two main sites - King George Hospital and Queen's Hospital.The Cardio-Respiratory Unit is a friendly, busy and expanding diagnostic unit. We offer a wide range of investigations including resting ECGs, 24 hour ECG and BP monitoring, Event Recording, Transthoracic and Transoesophageal Echocardiography, Pacemaker/ICD/CRTD implants and follow-up both face to face and remote. We also offer a full range of Respiratory Function investigations. We have a cardiac cath lab at the KGH site where we perform diagnostic angiography and all our device implants.We are looking for a forward thinking, enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated team of professionals working to the highest quality standards for a fixed period of 9 months.You should be appropriately qualified and skilled in performing and reporting non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests. You will have relevant experience with pacemaker/ICD follow-ups and implants. Experience of diagnostic angiography or echocardiography would be a bonus.Main duties of the jobTo provide a high quality, appropriate and effective Cardio-Respiratory investigation service.To supervise, guide and support all junior members of staff.To be responsible for the organisation and delivery of an area of specialist responsibility as allocated by the Lead Cardiac Physiologist.About usWe provide care for the residents of three diverse London boroughs.
