Band 7/8a Locum Clinical Pharmacist – Oswestry

Hunter Gatherer AHP have an opportunity based with a large orthopaedic hospital in Oswestry. The Pharmacy Manager is on the lookout for a ward-experienced pharmacist to join the medical division on a locum basis. The post holder will help provide specialist clinical pharmacy service to patients within the surgical admissions unit and will be expected to utilize their Independent Prescriber qualification within the role. Secondary dispensary duties will also be required in the inpatient pharmacy department. 

Working hours are between 9am - 5pm with flexibility depending on the candidate's prior experience. For the right person, flexible days are acceptable depending on how the CV lands with the department – this is a 6-month contract which is likely to extend beyond this date. 

PLEASE NOTE: An Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification is preferred but not essential for this role.

–       Band 7/8a Locum Clinical Pharmacist

–       £30-37 per hour depending on banding & experience

–       Ongoing contract with 2 week notice period

–       Flexible leave + indemnity insurance covered
