Balance Sheet Strategy Manager

Are you a Balance Sheet Strategy Manager looking for a new opportunity?Were looking for two managers to join our Balance Sheet Strategy team. Youll develop and monitor our Balance Sheet strategy at YBS. You will also define the target of the Balance Sheet shape to support the appropriate risk/reward position and ensure the long term sustainability of YBS. About the roleYoull analyse, monitor and report on the ongoing development of YBS target balance sheet shape. Define financial sustainability framework reporting and ensure that the forecasts are aligned with both the long term sustainability and target balance sheet shape.Working alongside the Senior Manager to perform analysis to support the development of the strawman balance sheet shape for use in the financial planning / forecasting process.Develop Balance Sheet Strategy Management Information (MI) reporting framework ensuring that appropriate quantity and quality of MI is provided at Board, Group Risk Committee, Executive Risk Committee and ALCO.Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on matters related to Balance Sheet Management ensuring that ongoing regulatory developments and industry best practice are factored into management practices.About youDetailed knowledge of Balance Sheet Management principles.Good knowledge of Treasury risk management practices and principles. Understanding of stress testing and scenario analysis.Good understanding of the concepts of sustainability, mutuality, and member value.Knowledge of financial markets and associated product pricing methodologies.Good knowledge of Retail / Commercial product offerings.About usAt YBS we dont have shareholders, we have members.
