Baker

We are looking for a Baker to join our client's team in Benthal Green.

Job Title: Baker

Duration: 4 weeks, with possible extension

Pay: �12-14 an hour
Hours: 7am-12pm (Wednesday to Sunday)

Location: Bethnal Green

• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality.
• Making bread, focaccia
• Prepare and manipulate dough, including flipping, shaping, and cutting off any excess to achieve desired results.
• Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor baking process to ensure goods are baked to perfection.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, following food safety and hygiene standards.
• Proactively assess bread inventory and prepare additional batches as needed to meet customer demand.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and fulfilling special orders.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Skills & requirements:

• Previous experience in a bakery or food preparation environment is essential
• Level 2 certification in food and hygiene is required
• Reliable and a great team player
• Excellent organisation and multitasking skills
• Proven ability to consistently deliver a high level of customer service
