A FinTech start-up providing institutional clients with algorithmic trading and best execution in Crypto on exchanges and decentralized finance.The company brings Investment Banking levels of professionalism to crypto space driven by a leadership team with decades of experience at tier 1 banks.Position Overview:Your opportunity as a highly experienced and innovative developer to join a dynamic team. This is a full-time hybrid role. As a developer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge web and cloud-based applications. Ideally you will have a strong technical background, a passion for innovation, and a deep knowledge of various toolsets. You will also be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex, high-performance trading algorithms for the CeFi and DeFi domains. You will also collaborate with professionals, to enhance their algorithms and models while ensuring the highest standards of security within our AWS ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:1. Development: Lead the end-to-end development of web and cloud-based applications, with strong backend services experience and having good understanding of how GUIs work. Understanding of front-end user interfaces to back-end server systems.2. Innovation: Drive innovation by actively researching and implementing new technologies, frameworks, and best practices to improve product quality and efficiency.3. AWS Expertise: Design, deploy, and manage applications on the AWS platform, leveraging services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and more.4. API Development: Design and develop scalable, RESTful APIs that enable seamless communication between various components of our applications.5. Microservices: Architect and develop microservices-based solutions for increased modularity and scalability.6. Security: Implement robust security measures and best practices throughout the development lifecycle to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our products.7. Access and Authorization: Knowledge of IAM and authorization systems8. Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to coding standards and conducting code reviews to maintain high-quality software.9. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver exceptional solutions.10. Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and challenges, ensuring seamless performance and user experience.11. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including API specifications, architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.12.
