Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) is the largest Community Healthcare Trust in London, employing almost 3500 staff and supporting two million patients across London and Hertfordshire An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band B6 Physiotherapist to join CLCH's well established Unplanned Care (RR/D2A/NWB) Team based in Edgware Community Hospital, Barnet, North London.
The successful applicant will receive regular supervision have access to a wide range of development opportunities to support their continued professional development. There are also monthly peer support groups and regular appraisals. There is opportunity for you to gain a wide perspective in a range of clinical areas and new ways of working e.g growing community Healthcare DeliveryMain duties of the jobThe successful post holders should have a Bsc/Msc in Physiotherapy and current HCPC membership. They should be highly organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills, evidence and experience of being able to assess Physiotherapy needs, set goals and formulate treatment plans, with sound clinical knowledge and proven experience in acute and community clinical environments. You will need to be adaptable to operate in a fast moving environment and have the clinical skills and ability to function in a larger team. .
He/she will participate in seven day working Rota and have an ability to work 37.5 hours per week. To contribute to discussions on service/policy development and provide comments on proposals and to propose changes where required. To be responsible for equipment used in carrying out physiotherapy duties and to adhere to departmental equipment policy, including competence to use equipment. To ensure the safe use of equipment by others through teaching, training, and supervision of practice. To decide priorities for your own work area, balancing other patient related and professional demands and ensure that these remain in accordance with those of the department. Be aware of the Health and Safety aspects of your work and implement any policies which may be required to improve the safety of your work area, including the prompt recording, and reporting of accidents and incidents to senior staff.

Skills & KnowledgeEssential
Good communication skills Able to work as part of a team. Demonstrate a problem-solving approach. Able to delegate and supervise staff appropriate to grade. Able to prioritise and manage time. Able to present information both written and verbal. Aware of of current issues in Physiotherapy/NHS IT skills
